AMU NCC cadets shine at Indian Military Academy, Dehradun
ALIGARH January 1: The NCC cadets, Shivam Saraswat and Kshitij Gaur of 1/8 Coy NCC, Aligarh Muslim University, represented Aligarh Group and UP Directorate at IMA Attachment Camp 2023. Shivam Saraswat also won a gold medal for outstanding conduct during the event.
Organized by IMA Officers and Traits, this camp aimed to develop military leadership in NCC cadets. ADG Maj. General Atul Rawat AVSM urged the cadets to join Indian Army and serve the nation.
About 250 cadets from all over India participated in this camp. Various events were organized at "Khaterpal' auditorium at the end of the camp and winners of different competitions were felicitated by Camp Commandant Col. Suveer Seth.
After arrival at Battalion, Commanding Officer 8 UP Bn NCC, Col. Ajay Lumba and Adm. Officer Col. G. Pandey appreciated the efforts of cadets. Lt. Farooq A. Dar, Coy Commander 1/8 Coy congratulated both the cadets for bringing accolades to the company.
Lt. Dar highlighted the efforts of NCC AMU in guiding and motivating University students to achieve their goals and objectives in life through discipline and unity.
Lt. Najaf Ali Khan, Coy Commander 2/8 Coy was also present at the felicitation ceremony.
