जामिया मिल्लिया इस्लामिया ने अपने प्रसिद्ध जामिया के प्रेमचंद अभिलेखागार में छात्रों को डिजिटलीकरण और मेटाडेटा निर्माण की प्रक्रियाओं से परिचित कराने के लिए कार्यशाला का किया आयोजन

 

जामिया मिल्लिया इस्लामिया स्थित प्रेमचंद अभिलेखागार एवं साहित्य केंद्र (जेपीएएलसी) ब्रिटिश लाइब्रेरी के लुप्तप्राय अभिलेखागार कार्यक्रम (ईएपी) अनुदान द्वारा वित्त पोषित डिजिटलीकरण परियोजना "मार्जिनल हिस्ट्रीज़: जामिया मिल्लिया इस्लामिया की स्थापना और भारत का स्वतंत्रता संग्राम" के अंतर्गत डिजिटलीकरण, फोटोग्राफी और अभिलेखागार पर कार्यशालाओं और मास्टरक्लास की एक श्रृंखला आयोजित कर रहा है।

 

20 अगस्त 2025 को एजेके मास कम्युनिकेशन रिसर्च सेंटर (एमसीआरसी) के स्टिल फोटोग्राफी और विजुअल कम्युनिकेशन में पीजी डिप्लोमा के शिक्षकों और छात्रों ने एक कार्यशाला में भाग लिया, जिसमें उन्हें डिजिटलीकरण और मेटाडेटा निर्माण की पूरी प्रक्रिया से परिचित कराया गया।

 

जेपीएएलसी जिस सामग्री को संरक्षित करना चाहता है वह 1950 से पहले की है और मोटे तौर पर दो सेटों में आती है। पहले सेट में जेएमआई के संस्थापकों और पायनियर्स से संबंधित संग्रह शामिल हैं जो प्रमुख राष्ट्रीय नेता भी थे। सामग्री का दूसरा सेट साहित्यिक दिग्गजों का संग्रह है, जिनकी रचनाएँ उस सामाजिक-सांस्कृतिक-राजनीतिक परिवेश का समृद्ध और जीवंत विवरण प्रदान करती हैं जिसमें जामिया का जन्म हुआ था। ये सामग्री जेपीएएलसी के संग्रह के लिए दुर्लभ और अनूठी हैं। पहले सेट में मौलाना मोहम्मद अली (1878-1931), डॉ. एम. ए. अंसारी (1880-1936), मौलाना शौकत अली (1873-1938), हामिद अली खान, ए. एम. ख्वाजा (1885-1962) डॉ. जाकिर हुसैन (1897-1969) और शफीकुर रहमान किदवई (1901-1953) के संग्रह शामिल हैं। दूसरे सेट में साहित्य जगत के दिग्गजों मुंशी प्रेमचंद (1880-1936), देवेंद्र सत्यार्थी (1908-2000), पंडित बनारसी दास चतुर्वेदी, हामिद हसन कादिरी (1887-1980), बेगम अनीस किदवई (1906-1982) और प्रो. ख्वाजा अहमद फ़ारूक़ी (1917-1986) के संग्रहों को डिजिटल रूप देने का प्रयास किया गया है। पत्रों, डायरियों, पत्राचार, रजिस्टरों, स्क्रैपबुक, तस्वीरों, दीक्षांत समारोह के भाषणों, अखबारों की कतरनों, प्रमाणपत्रों, पत्रिकाओं, जर्नलों, नोटपैड और दुर्लभ पुस्तकों से युक्त ये संग्रह जामिया मिल्लिया इस्लामिया के संस्थापकों और शुरुआती पायनियर्स द्वारा निभाई गई भूमिका के प्रमाण हैं।

 

पिछले सप्ताह स्टिल फोटोग्राफी और विजुअल कम्युनिकेशन में पीजी डिप्लोमा, एजेके एमसीआरसी के छात्रों और शिक्षकों के लिए कार्यशाला आयोजित की गई, जिसने उन्हें डिजिटलीकरण और मेटाडेटा निर्माण की पूरी प्रक्रिया से परिचित कराया। इसका समन्वयन कोर्स समन्वयक और एसोसिएट प्रोफेसर, सोहेल अकबर ने किया, जिन्होंने पहले भी निकॉन कैमरों के उपयोग में डिजिटलीकरण विशेषज्ञों को प्रशिक्षित करने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाई थी। प्रो. शोहिनी घोष, निदेशक (ऑफलाइन) ने प्रतिभागियों और रिसोर्स पर्सन का स्वागत किया, और जेपीएएलसी और ईएपी परियोजना का अवलोकन प्रदान किया। कार्यक्रम में पुरालेखपाल सैयद मोहम्मद आमिर और श्रद्धा शंकर के नेतृत्व में जेपीएएलसी का एक निर्देशित दौरा शामिल था। पुरालेखपाल स्निग्धा रॉय ने नाजुक दस्तावेजों को संभालने पर ध्यान केंद्रित करते हुए डिजिटलीकरण वर्कफ़्लो की व्याख्या की। अकिफ सत्तार (डिजिटलीकरण विशेषज्ञ) यह कार्यशाला जेपीएएलसी द्वारा नाजुक सांस्कृतिक विरासत को संरक्षित करने और साथ ही नई पीढ़ी को अभिलेखीय प्रथाओं का प्रशिक्षण देने के प्रयासों में एक महत्वपूर्ण कदम साबित हुई।

 

2004 में स्थापित, ब्रिटिश लाइब्रेरी का लुप्तप्राय अभिलेखागार कार्यक्रम (ईएपी) दुनिया भर से संवेदनशील अभिलेखीय सामग्रियों को संरक्षित और सुलभ बनाने के लिए स्थापित किया गया था। इसका उद्देश्य कम से कम पचास वर्ष से अधिक पुरानी सांस्कृतिक विरासत की रक्षा करना है जो लंबे समय, क्षरण, संघर्ष, या पर्यावरणीय क्षति या अपक्रमण के कारण नष्ट होने के जोखिम में है। यह कार्यक्रम मुख्य रूप से उन परियोजनाओं को वित्तपोषित करके ऐसा करता है जो पांडुलिपियों, दुर्लभ मुद्रित कृतियों, तस्वीरों और ध्वनि रिकॉर्डिंग जैसे लुप्तप्राय संग्रहों का डिजिटलीकरण करती हैं।

 

जेपीएएलसी के कर्मचारियों ने एक विस्तृत प्रस्ताव तैयार करने और प्रस्तुत करने के लिए कड़ी मेहनत की और प्रतिष्ठित अनुदान प्राप्त करने के लिए कई मूल्यांकन दौर सफलतापूर्वक पार किए। ईएपी का उद्देश्य न केवल नाजुक अभिलेखागारों का संरक्षण करना है, बल्कि कार्यशालाओं और मास्टर कक्षाओं के माध्यम से स्थानीय क्षमता का निर्माण भी करना है। क्षमता निर्माण की इसी भावना से डिजिटलीकरण, फोटोग्राफी और अभिलेखीय कार्यशालाओं पर कार्यशालाएँ आयोजित की जाती हैं।

AMU Schools and Departments Celebrate National Sports Day with Vigour and Enthusiasm

 Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) observed National Sports Day 2025 with a series of spirited programmes organized by various departments and schools, paying tribute to hockey legend Major Dhyan Chand and promoting the values of fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

The Department of Home Science marked the occasion with a two-day celebration. On August 29, Prof. Saba Khan, Chairperson, interacted with students and highlighted the role of sports in leading a disciplined and healthy life. The Fit India Pledge was administered, followed by traditional games and competitions including kho-kho, a 50-metre race, and pitthu, held on August 30 under the tagline “Khelebhi, Khilebhi.”

At Saiyyid Hamid Senior Secondary School (Boys), the celebrations began with a special assembly where Prof. Mohd Azam Khan, Deputy Director of School Education, emphasized the importance of reducing screen time and engaging in outdoor activities. Dr. Mohd Arshad Bari, Department of Physical Education, delivered a special talk on the life and achievements of Major Dhyan Chand. Inter-house sporting events saw Bhagat Singh Riders emerge champions in basketball, dodgeball, and “In & Out,” with Zafar Iqbal Panthers finishing as runners-up in all three contests.

The Senior Secondary School (Girls) launched a three-day celebration with assemblies, pledges, and an address on the significance of sports. Energetic tug-of-war matches saw Begum Hazrat Mahal House clinch the win over Saina Nehwal Brigade. A yoga competition held in the PHE Lab was won by Riddhima, while Inaya and Nida Khan secured second and third positions, and Maryam earned a consolation prize.

The kho-kho match on August 30 saw Mary Kom Rising Stars defeat Sania Mirza Speedsters. In the poster-making competition, Zaeema Arsh won first prize, followed by Sanjana Kashyap and Yashi Agrawal. The speech competition on Major Dhyan Chand was topped by Anam Fatima, with Nabeeha Siddiqui and Khushi Gautam sharing the second position, and Zunaira placed third.

AMU ABK High School (Girls) celebrated the day with activities ranging from yoga and rope skipping to cricket and cycling. Students set personal bests in rope skipping, while a keenly contested cricket match drew great enthusiasm from participants. The event concluded with prize distribution by Vice Principal Dr. Saba Hasan, who awarded medals and trophies to the winners. The primary section engaged in sack races, spoon races, relays, and a 50-metre race, with active involvement of house incharges guiding the students.

STS School hosted an Inter-School Table Tennis Tournament alongside in-house sports events, inaugurated by Prof. Mohd Azam Khan. Aditya Singh (STS School) won the table tennis title, with Vansh Kumar (STS School) finishing runner-up, and Faisal Ahmad (RMPS City School) earning the consolation prize. Other competitions included volleyball, hockey, tug-of-war, and cricket, while younger students participated in track races. Principal Mr. Faisal Nafis administered the Sports Oath and urged students to embrace sports as a way of life.

At AMU City Girls’ High School, students of Class V performed a skit on the life of Dhyan Chand. A variety of races such as lemon-and-spoon, relay, mathematical race, cycling, and three-legged races were held, alongside kho-kho and tug-of-war matches. Teachers joined in with musical chairs. Winners were felicitated with medals and certificates in a colourful prize distribution ceremony.

AMU Girls’ School conducted intra-house competitions in kho-kho, hockey, cricket, table tennis, and yoga, along with poster making and slogan writing on the theme “Ek Ghanta Khel Ke Maidan Mein.” The events, supervised by Mr. Md Imran Khan and guided by Principal Ms. Amna Malik and Vice Principal Ms. Alka Agarwal, saw enthusiastic participation across classes VI to XII. Winners of each category were awarded certificates and prizes.

AMU Organizes Workshop on Anti-Discriminatory Practices under UGC Gender Champions Scheme

ALIGARH, August 30: The Advanced Centre for Women’s Studies, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), organized a workshop under the UGC Gender Champions Scheme on the theme “Anti-Discriminatory Practices for Gender Champions at AMU.” The event brought together students, faculty, and gender champions committed to promoting equality and justice within the university and beyond.

The workshop was presided over by Prof. Samina Khan, President of the Internal Complaints Committee, while Prof. Asiya Sultana, Anti-Discrimination Officer of AMU, delivered the keynote address as the Guest Speaker. Participants were welcomed by Prof. Azra Musavi, Director of the Advanced Centre for Women’s Studies, who emphasized the significance of the Gender Champions initiative in fostering gender equality and resisting all forms of discrimination.

Technical sessions were conducted by Dr.Tarushikha and Dr.Sheeraz Ahmed, Assistant Professors at the Centre, who discussed various forms of discrimination and biases in society. They highlighted the constitutional safeguards and legal frameworks that protect equality and justice, stressing the importance of awareness in addressing discriminatory practices.

In her address, Prof. Asiya Sultana observed that discrimination remains deeply rooted in society and continues to threaten national unity. She noted that while claims of equality are often made, the reality is that if even a single woman faces discrimination, true equality has not been achieved. Drawing attention to social double standards, she cited instances where crimes committed by women were generalized to question women’s integrity, in contrast to centuries of similar acts by men that never led to such sweeping judgments.

In her presidential remarks, Prof. Samina Khan underlined the values of intersectionality, freedom of choice, and mutual respect. She shed light on institutional challenges and affirmed that discrimination, whether based on gender, colour, religion, or background, has no place in a just society. She urged gender champions to lead by example and extend their roles beyond the campus into the wider community.

The programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Gender Champion, Sifat Fatima.

Annual Hall Majlis at N.R.S.C., AMU Commemorates Martyrdom of Imam Hussain (a.s.)

ALIGARH, August 30: The students of Non-Resident Students’ Centre (NRSC), Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), organized the Annual Hall Majlis to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hussain (a.s.). The solemn gathering was attended by students, faculty members, and members of the local community.

Maulana Ghulam Mohd. Mehdi Khan, Chief Shia Qazi, Government of Tamil Nadu, delivered the keynote address, in which he highlighted the timeless message of Karbala and Imam Hussain’s (a.s.) stand for justice, truth, and human dignity. He urged the youth to imbibe these values in their personal and social lives.

Earlier, the programme began with Marsiya Khwani by Shahid Husain. The Nauha Khwani, rendered with deep emotion by RaunaqHallauri, evoked profound sentiments of grief and remembrance.

The Majlis organized under the guidance of Prof. Brij Bhushan Singh, Provost, NRSC, with the dedicated efforts of the Hall students, concluded with prayers for peace, unity, and divine blessings.

During the gathering, Ms. Naila highlighted the social and educational initiatives pioneered under the leadership of Dr. Saiyid Hamid, IAS (former Vice Chancellor, AMU), and also acknowledged the contribution of her father, Haji Aqeel Ahmad, Treasurer of the All India Educational Movement, AMU Aligarh.             Mr. Adnan Tresurer of Canada Branch, provided an update on the activities of the Canada Unit.

Dr. Masood Ahmad, elected for the second time as CEC Member of the AMU Old Boys’ (Alumni) Association and currently serving as President of SEWA Trust, addressed the meeting. He responded to all queries and offered practical solutions for the agenda items discussed.

In his remarks, he recalled that the NGO Social, Educational Welfare Association (SEWA) Trust (Registered, (AMU Think Tank) was founded in 1978 and, in 2016, established the Sir Syed Orphanage—a residential educational center inspired by the vision of Sir Syed Ahmad Khan.

The Trust is dedicated to uplifting orphans, underprivileged students, girls from marginalized communities, widows, differently-abled individuals, and the elderly, providing them with educational, social, and healthcare support.

FAAA Announces New Leadership: AMU Alumni Continue Legacy of Service and Global Impact

Aligarh, August 25: The Federation of Aligarh Muslim University Alumni Associations (FAAA) has announced the appointment of Mr. Afzal Usmani as its new President, effective immediately. A distinguished alumnus of AMU and a community leader, Mr. Usmani also serves as the President of the Aligarh Alumni Association, Washington, DC, for the 2025–2026 term. With a career marked by professional excellence and philanthropic commitment, he embodies the values of Sir Syed Ahmad Khan and the spirit of the AMU community.


Mr. Usmani expressed his gratitude on assuming charge: 'I am honored to serve as President of the Federation.' AMU has given us all a strong foundation of knowledge and character. This is our time to give back—by supporting our alma mater, uplifting our community, and ensuring that the legacy of Sir Syed thrives through the collective efforts of alumni associations across North America.

Under his leadership, FAAA plans to launch several new initiatives, including youth engagement programs, mentorship opportunities, standardized scholarship schemes, digital outreach, and closer coordination with AMU authorities. His vision emphasizes not only promoting alumni unity across the United States and Canada but also expanding opportunities for AMU students through scholarships and academic collaborations.

FAAA also acknowledged the exemplary contributions of the outgoing leadership team. Dr. Naushad Khan Ghilzai (Atlanta), outgoing President, was praised for elevating the Federation to new heights during his tenure. Special thanks were extended to Dr. Shoeb Ahmad (Atlanta), outgoing Secretary, and Mr. Kauser Zaidi (Upstate New York), outgoing Treasurer, for their dedication and service.

The Federation also declared the outcome of its recent Board elections, with all positions filled unanimously, underscoring the spirit of unity and collective commitment within the AMU alumni community. The newly elected members are: Dr. Abdul Jabbar Khan (AAAUNY, Albany, New York) as President-elect; Mr. Shah Faisal Khan (AAA Greater Chicago) as Secretary-elect; Mr. Shah Shoaib Faizan (AAA New York) as Treasurer-elect; and Mr. Kauser Usmani (AAA New York) as Member, Board of Trustees.

अलीगढ़, 23 अगस्तः अलीगढ़ मुस्लिम विश्वविद्यालय के धर्मशास्त्र विभाग द्वारा इस्लामिक फिकह अकादमी, नई दिल्ली के सहयोग से कला संकाय लाउंज में “समकालीन शैक्षणिक संस्थानों में इस्लामी विज्ञान का अध्ययन एवं अनुसंधानः पद्धति और उद्देश्य” विषय पर दो दिवसीय राष्ट्रीय संगोष्ठी का आयोजन किया गया।

संगोष्ठी की अध्यक्षता करते हुए एएमयू के सहकुलपति प्रोफेसर एम. मोहसिन खान ने एकता के महत्व पर जोर देते हुए ऐसे कार्यों से बचने की सलाह दी, जिनसे आलोचना का अवसर मिले। उन्होंने सर सैयद अहमद खाँ के उस दृष्टिकोण को याद किया जिसमें आधुनिक विज्ञान को धार्मिक शिक्षा के साथ जोड़ने, स्वतंत्र शोध, खुले विचार और नैतिक मूल्यों को बढ़ावा देने की बात की गई थी।

मुख्य अतिथि एवं इस्लामिक फिकह अकादमी के अध्यक्ष मौलाना खालिद सैफुल्लाह रहमानी ने अपने मुख्य भाषण में अनुसंधान में उत्कृष्टता की आवश्यकता पर बल दिया। उन्होंने पैगम्बर मोहम्मद साहब के इस कथन का हवाला देते हुए कहा कि हर कार्य को श्रेष्ठता के साथ करना चाहिए। उन्होंने गहन विशेषज्ञता और विभिन्न विचारों के प्रति खुलेपन पर जोर दिया। उनका कहना था कि पूर्व में धार्मिक परंपराओं ने स्वतंत्र चिंतन को सीमित किया था, जबकि पैगम्बर ने विविध विचारों पर सोच-समझकर विमर्श करने की प्रेरणा दी।

विशिष्ट अतिथि प्रोफेसर इक्तिदार मोहम्मद खान ने शोधार्थियों से ऐसे विषयों का चयन करने का आग्रह किया जिनका वर्तमान संदर्भ में व्यावहारिक महत्व हो। एक अन्य विशिष्ट अतिथि, मुफ्ती अतीक अहमद बस्तावी, महासचिव, इस्लामिक फिकह अकादमी ने इसे भारतीय विश्वविद्यालयों में इस्लामी अध्ययन पर शोध के मूल्यांकन का पहला प्रयास बताते हुए सराहा और एएमयू की सांस्कृतिक धरोहर की रक्षा का आह्वान किया।

इस अवसर पर अतिथियों द्वारा दो पुस्तकों का विमोचन भी किया गया। ‘द हिस्ट्री ऑफ हंड्रेड ईयर्स ऑफ अलीगढ़ मुस्लिम यूनिवर्सिटी, जिसे प्रोफेसर एम. सऊद आलम कासमी ने संकलित किया है, और ‘अल दीन’ जिसका संपादन सालेह जाहिद अली और तल्हा ने किया है।

स्वागत भाषण में धर्मशास्त्र संकाय के डीन प्रोफेसर मोहम्मद हबीबुल्लाह कासमी ने सर सैयद के शिक्षा, प्रशिक्षण और संस्कृति के त्रिस्तरीय सूत्र को सर्वांगीण शिक्षा के लिए आवश्यक बताया। संगोष्ठी के विषय का परिचय कराते हुए धर्मशास्त्र संकाय के पूर्व डीन प्रोफेसर सऊद आलम कासमी ने धार्मिक शिक्षा में वर्तमान चुनौतियों के समाधान हेतु सुधार की आवश्यकता पर बल दिया।

संगोष्ठी में प्रोफेसर उबैदुल्लाह फहद फलाही, प्रोफेसर फहीम अख्तर नदवी, प्रोफेसर तौकीर आलम फलाही और प्रोफेसर नसीम अहमद खान सहित देशभर से आए प्रख्यात विद्वानों, शिक्षकों, छात्रों और शोधार्थियों ने भाग लिया।

डीन, स्टूडेंट्स वेलफेयर कार्यालय द्वारा जारी सूचना के अनुसार, यह मेडल उन नियमित छात्रों को दिया जाएगा जिन्होंने एएमयू से नियमित पढ़ाई के तहत कम से कम एक डिग्री प्राप्त की हो। एमबीबीएस और बीयूएमएस के इंटर्नशिप कर रहे विद्यार्थी, एमफिल पीएचडी कर रहे छात्र भी इसके लिए आवेदन कर सकते हैं।

यदि किसी छात्र की पढ़ाई के बीच गैप रहा हो, पूरक परीक्षा दी हो, बैकलॉग रहा हो, या उसके खिलाफ अनुशासनात्मक कार्रवाई चल रही हो, तो वह इस पुरस्कार के लिए पात्र नहीं होगा।

शैक्षणिक प्रदर्शन का मूल्यांकन कक्षा 10 से लेकर मास्टर डिग्री तक की परीक्षाओं के आधार पर किया जाएगा।

आवेदन पत्र के साथ एएमयू का पहचान पत्र, सभी अंकपत्रों की सत्यापित प्रतियाँ, चरित्र प्रमाण पत्र, सामाजिक सेवा या अन्य गतिविधियों से संबंधित प्रमाण पत्र और एक नवीनतम बायोडाटा संलग्न करना लिए अनिवार्य है।

जामिया मिल्लिया इस्लामिया ने ‘वर्ल्ड इंटरप्रेन्योर्स डे’ मनाने के लिए INNOVRITI-2025 और NASSCOM द्वारा संचालित कार्यशाला का किया आयोजन

 

जामिया मिल्लिया इस्लामिया (JMI) के नवाचार एवं उद्यमिता केंद्र (CIE) ने 20 और 21 अगस्त 2025 को आयोजित दो दिवसीय प्रमुख कार्यक्रम INNOVRITI-2025 का सफलतापूर्वक आयोजन किया, जिसमें कई प्रतियोगिताओं, पैनल चर्चाओं, स्टार्टअप शोकेस और उद्योग जगत के लीडर्स के साथ संवादों के साथ वर्ल्ड इंटरप्रेन्योर्स डे मनाया गया।

 

20 अगस्त 2025 को आयोजन के पहले दिन, यूनिवर्सिटी पॉलिटेक्निक और NASSCOM सेक्टर स्किल्स काउंसिल के सहयोग से एक उच्च-प्रभावी कार्यशाला आयोजित की गई। इस सत्र में प्रसिद्ध वक्ताओं- मैक्सिमलर्ट इन्फोटेक प्राइवेट लिमिटेड के संस्थापक श्री अभिषेक राय; सुश्री कामना (नैसकॉम); और टेकपिलो के संस्थापक श्री मयंक गुप्ता—जिन्होंने छात्रों और नवोदित उद्यमियों के साथ बहुमूल्य अंतर्दृष्टि साझा की। श्री अभिषेक ने साइबर सुरक्षा पर एक विचारोत्तेजक सत्र दिया, जिसमें परस्पर जुड़ी दुनिया में डिजिटल सतर्कता और लचीलेपन की बढ़ती आवश्यकता पर प्रकाश डाला गया। सुश्री कामना ने प्रतिभागियों को नैसकॉम फ्यूचरस्किल्स प्लेटफ़ॉर्म से परिचित कराया, जिसमें कृत्रिम बुद्धिमत्ता, क्लाउड कंप्यूटिंग, साइबर सुरक्षा, डेटा एनालिटिक्स और IoT जैसे क्षेत्रों में मुफ़्त, सरकार-समर्थित और उद्योग-मान्यता प्राप्त पाठ्यक्रमों की एक विस्तृत श्रृंखला प्रदर्शित की गई। उन्होंने इस बात पर ज़ोर दिया कि ये पाठ्यक्रम सभी शिक्षार्थियों के लिए सुलभ हैं और स्व-गति और प्रशिक्षक-निर्देशित प्रारूपों के माध्यम से भविष्य के लिए तैयार कौशल विकसित करने के लिए डिज़ाइन किए गए हैं। श्री मयंक गुप्ता ने उद्यम निर्माण और प्रबंधन पर व्यावहारिक रणनीतियों और व्यक्तिगत अनुभवों को साझा करके छात्रों को प्रेरित किया, और अपने स्वयं के स्टार्टअप शुरू करने के इच्छुक लोगों को व्यावहारिक अंतर्दृष्टि प्रदान की।

 

इस सहयोग ने शिक्षा और उद्योग जगत को जोड़ा, जिससे छात्रों को वास्तविक दुनिया के उद्यमशीलता और डिजिटल कौशल का अनुभव प्राप्त हुआ।

 

INNOVRITI-2025 के मुख्य आकर्षण के रूप में, "आइडिया फॉर चेंज" प्रतियोगिता ने विभिन्न विषयों के 40 से अधिक छात्रों को एक मंच पर लाने का काम किया, जिन्होंने सामाजिक, डिजिटल और व्यावसायिक प्रभाव पैदा करने के उद्देश्य से अपने नवोन्मेषी विचार प्रस्तुत किए। प्रतिभागियों ने अपने विचार प्रतिष्ठित निर्णायक मंडल के समक्ष प्रस्तुत किए, जहाँ उन्हें रचनात्मक प्रतिक्रिया और मार्गदर्शन प्राप्त हुआ। इस प्रतियोगिता ने न केवल जामिया के छात्रों की रचनात्मकता और उद्यमशीलता की कुशाग्रता को प्रदर्शित किया, बल्कि समस्या-समाधान और नवाचार-संचालित संस्कृति को बढ़ावा देने के लिए विश्वविद्यालय की प्रतिबद्धता को भी पुष्ट किया।

 

दूसरे दिन, 21 अगस्त 2025 को आयोजित समापन सत्र में रचनात्मकता और उद्यमशीलता के एक प्रेरक उत्सव के लिए नवोन्मेषकों, छात्रों और उद्यमियों को एक साथ लाया गया। इस सत्र में मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में जामिया के माननीय कुलपति प्रो. मज़हर आसिफ़ और विशिष्ट अतिथि के रूप में जामिया के रजिस्ट्रार प्रो. मोहम्मद महताब आलम रिज़वी उपस्थित थे।

 

प्रो. मज़हर आसिफ़ ने छात्रों के प्रयासों की सराहना करते हुए कहा, " वर्ल्ड इंटरप्रेन्योर्स डे हमें याद दिलाता है कि नवाचार प्रगति की धड़कन है—और हमारे छात्र एक आत्मनिर्भर और नवोन्मेषी भारत की भावना का प्रतिनिधित्व करते हैं।" प्रो. मोहम्मद महताब आलम रिज़वी ने कहा, "जामिया का सीआईई केवल विचारों का स्थान नहीं है, बल्कि भविष्य के लीडर्स और इनोवेटर्स के लिए एक लॉन्चपैड है।"

 

कार्यक्रम की शुरुआत सीआईई की प्रभारी प्रो. सिमी मल्होत्रा के स्वागत भाषण से हुई, जिन्होंने कहा, "सीआईई में, हम एक ऐसा वातावरण प्रदान करते हैं जहाँ विचार केवल विचार ही नहीं रहते, बल्कि प्रभावशाली वास्तविकताओं में विकसित होते हैं।" सीआईई के निदेशक प्रो. रिहान खान सूरी द्वारा संचालित एक आकर्षक उद्यमी गोलमेज सम्मेलन ने छात्रों के लिए उद्योग जगत के नेताओं के साथ सीधे बातचीत करने का एक मंच तैयार किया। प्रो. सूरी ने आगे कहा, "जब प्रतिभा और मार्गदर्शन मिलते हैं, तो नवाचार फलता-फूलता है और विचार उद्यमों में बदल जाते हैं।"

 

कुलपति और रजिस्ट्रार ने आइडिया फॉर चेंज प्रतियोगिता के विजेताओं और प्रतिभागियों के साथ-साथ कैलेंडर 2025 टीम को भी सम्मानित किया, जिसने कुलपति के दृष्टिकोण के अनुसार जामिया मिल्लिया इस्लामिया के वाइब्रेंट बर्डलाइफ का रचनात्मक दस्तावेजीकरण किया।

 

इस कार्यक्रम की कुछ प्रमुख विशेषताएँ इस प्रकार थीं: छात्रों को डिजिटल अर्थव्यवस्था के लिए तैयार करने हेतु नैसकॉम द्वारा उद्योग-संचालित कार्यशाला के साथ व्यावहारिक कौशल विकास; 40 से अधिक नवीन प्रस्तुतियों और उद्योग जगत के लीडर्स के साथ व्यापक नेटवर्किंग के साथ उद्यमशीलता का अनुभव; स्टार्टअप एक्सपो और टैलेंट शोकेस- इनक्यूबेटेड स्टार्टअप और कौशल-पाठ्यक्रम के छात्रों ने उत्पादों और नवाचारों का प्रदर्शन किया, जिसकी गणमान्य व्यक्तियों ने सराहना की और उद्योग-अकादमिक तालमेल ने नवाचार और रोजगारपरकता को बढ़ावा देने के लिए जामिया मिल्लिया इस्लामिया और उद्योग निकायों के बीच सहयोग को मजबूत किया।

AMU Law Alumnus Tops Delhi Higher Judicial Services Examination

Aligarh, August 22:Showcasing the brilliance and legacy of the Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) Faculty of Law, Mr. Akbar Siddiqui, Advocate-on-Record, Supreme Court of India, has secured the top position in the Delhi Higher Judicial Services Examination.

An alumnus of the 2007 batch, Mr. Siddiqui is celebrated for his distinguished practice before the Hon’ble Supreme Court and his role in the landmark Satender Kumar Antil case, which significantly shaped the jurisprudence on bail. His achievement yet again cements the Faculty of Law, AMU, as a cradle of some of the finest legal minds in the country.

Congratulating him on this remarkable feat, AMU Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Naima Khatoon, said:
“Mr. Siddiqui’s accomplishment is a matter of great pride for AMU and its Faculty of Law. His journey from Aligarh to the Supreme Court and now to the higher judiciary is an inspiring example of academic rigor, professional excellence, and perseverance. We wish him continued success in serving the cause of justice.”

Six AMU Students Awarded

 

            Six AMU Students Awarded estigious Fully-Funded Scholarships by China and Taiwan

Six students of Chinese from the Department of Foreign Languages (DFL), Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), have earned significant international recognition with the award of fully-funded one-year scholarships by China and Taiwan.

Five students, including Nazneen Haider Khan (Peking University), Mohammad Azeem (Zhejiang University), Anas Ali (Beijing Language & Culture University), Abdul Aziz (East China Normal University), and Vanshika Rani (Beijing Language & Culture University), have been selected for the prestigious Chinese Government Scholarship, while Ahmad Farooqi, a former student, has received the Huayu Enrichment Scholarship from the Government of Taiwan.

These students will pursue an advanced Chinese language programme at leading institutions, enhancing their linguistic and cultural expertise.

Prof. Aftab Alam, Chairperson of the Department of Foreign Languages, congratulated the students, stating that their achievement reflects the quality of education and opportunities provided by AMU. He emphasized that this milestone will not only contribute to their personal and professional development but also strengthen the university’s international collaborations and reputation.
