Abdullah School, Aligarh Muslim University, set the tone for Independence Day celebrations by organizing a series of vibrant and patriotic activities under the banner of Har Ghar Tiranga, aimed at instilling the spirit of freedom, unity, and national pride among its young students.
The celebrations began with a special assembly for Class 5 students as part of the Viksit Bharat Yuva Connect program, designed to inspire young minds to actively contribute to India’s development and progress. Superintendent Ms. Umra Zaheer addressed the gathering, highlighting the crucial role of youth participation in shaping the nation’s future.
Following the assembly, creativity took center stage with poster-making competitions. Class 5 students illustrated the theme Viksit Bharat with remarkable imagination, while students from Classes 2 to 4 brought alive the themes of Freedom and Patriotism through colorful and expressive artworks. Each creation reflected the children’s deep understanding of the values of independence and their love for the nation.
The programs, conducted under the guidance of Ms. Umra Zaheer and the supervision of teachers Ms. Arshia Aftab and Ms. Sehba Asim, were marked with enthusiasm, and artistic brilliance. The events not only celebrated the approaching Independence Day but also nurtured the qualities of creativity, responsibility, and civic awareness in the young learners.
By engaging students in meaningful and inspiring activities, Abdullah School, AMU, assured its commitment to promote a generation of responsible, aware, and patriotic citizens — ready to carry the tricolor with pride and contribute to the nation’s journey towards progress.
