CONGRATULATIONS
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to the newly appointed leadership team of FAAA:

• Mr. Ali Fakhruddin Siddiqui (Texas), Treasurer
All three have been actively serving on the FAAA Board of Directors since July 2024 and bring with them a wealth of organizational experience to their new responsibilities.
In honor of especial occasion, Ms. Naila Saeed graciously hosted a lunche on at her residence, where she warmly welcomed Dr. Masood Ahmad. During the gathering, Ms. Naila highlighted the social and educational initiatives pioneered under the leadership of Dr. Saiyid Hamid, IAS (former Vice Chancellor, AMU), and also acknowledged the contribution of her father, Haji Aqeel Ahmad, Treasurer of the All India Educational Movement, AMU Aligarh. Mr. Adnan Tresurer of Canada Branch, provided an update on the activities of the Canada Unit.
Dr. Masood Ahmad, elected for the second time as CEC Member of the AMU Old Boys’ (Alumni) Association and currently serving as President of SEWA Trust, addressed the meeting. He responded to all queries and offered practical solutions for the agenda items discussed.
In his remarks, he recalled that the NGO Social, Educational Welfare Association (SEWA) Trust (Registered, (AMU Think Tank) was founded in 1978 and, in 2016, established the Sir Syed Orphanage—a residential educational center inspired by the vision of Sir Syed Ahmad Khan.
The Trust is dedicated to uplifting orphans, underprivileged students, girls from marginalized communities, widows, differently-abled individuals, and the elderly, providing them with educational, social, and healthcare support.
