شعبۂ عربی، جامعہ ملیہ اسلامیہ میں ثقافتی پروگرام: طلبہ کی صلاحیتوں کا شاندار مظاہرہ

طلبہ کی جانب سے عربی ڈرامے اور شعر خوانی کی پیش کش، سہ ماہی وال میگزین کا اجرا؛ شعبے کے اولڈ بوائے کی بطور مہمانِ خصوصی شرکت

 

شعبۂ عربی، جامعہ ملیہ اسلامیہ کی سبجیکٹ ایسوسی ایشن کے زیر اہتمام فیکلٹی آف انجینئرنگ کے آڈیٹوریم میں ایک شاندار ثقافتی پروگرام کا انعقاد کیا گیا، جس میں طلبہ کی جانب سے مختلف ادبی و ثقافتی پروگرام پیش کیے گئے۔ اس موقع پر طلبہ کے سہ ماہی وال میگزین کا بھی اجرا عمل میں آیا۔

تقریب کی صدارت، صدر شعبۂ عربی پروفیسر فوزان احمد نے کی، جب کہ شعبے کے اولڈ بوائے، سابق سفیرِ ہند برائے شام اور انڈین کونسل فار ورلڈ افیئرز کے رکن ڈاکٹر ارشاد احمد مہمانِ خصوصی تھے۔

پروگرام کا آغاز تلاوتِ کلامِ پاک سے ہوا، جس کے بعد نعت رسولﷺ اور جامعہ کا ترانہ پیش کیا گیا۔ گریجویشن اور پوسٹ گریجویشن کے نووارد طلبہ نے خود کو حاضرین کے سامرے متعارف پیش کرایا، اور غزلیں بھی پیش کیں۔ پروگرام کا خصوصی حصہ عربی ڈراما "مہزلۃ الشرف" تھا، جس میں ایک ایسے قاضی کی کہانی پیش کی گئی جو مقدمات پر غور و فکر کیے بغیر عجلت میں فیصلے صادر کرتا ہے، جس کے نتیجے میں کئی افراد کی زندگیاں متاثر ہوتی ہیں۔ ڈرامے میں آخرت کے ایک منظر کے ذریعے عدل، ذمہ داری اور انسانی حقوق کی اہمیت کو مؤثر انداز میں اجاگر کیا گیا۔

مہمانِ خصوصی ڈاکٹر ارشاد احمد نے اپنے خطاب میں جامعہ ملیہ اسلامیہ سے اپنی تعلیمی وابستگی کا ذکر کرتے ہوئے بتایا کہ جامعۃ الفلاح سے عالمیت کے بعد انہوں نے جامعہ ملیہ اسلامیہ میں داخلہ لیا اور پروفیسر ضیاء الحسن ندوی کی زیرِ نگرانی تعلیمی مناہج پر تحقیقی مقالہ پیش کیا۔ انہوں نے جامعہ کے ماضی کو یاد کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ ان کے زمانے میں عمارتیں اور سبزہ آج کی طرح نہ تھا، تاہم تعلیمی و تحقیقی سرگرمیوں میں خاصی گہماگہمی تھی۔ آج جامعہ نہ صرف پررونق ہے بلکہ تعلیمی و تحقیقی سرگرمیوں سے بھی آباد ہے۔ انھوں نے جامعہ ملیہ اسلامیہ سے وابستہ اپنی یادوں کو نہ صرف تازہ کیا، بلکہ اپنے تجربات کا بھی ذکر کیا ، اور ان تجربات نے انھیں زندگی کے مختلف مراحل میں کامیابی سے کس طرح ہمکنار کیا اس کی بھی داستان سنائی۔

صدر شعبہ عربی پروفیسر فوزان احمد صاحب نے اپنے خطاب میں مہمان کی تشریف آوری پر ان کا شکریہ اداکیا، نئے طلبہ کا استقبال کرتے ہوئے انھوں نے فرمایا کہ جامعہ ملیہ اسلامیہ کے شعبہء عربی میں ان کا داخلہ کس اہمیت کا حامل ہے ، انھوں نے طلبہء کو وقت کی قدر کرنے کی نصیحت کی، انھوں نے کہا جامعہ ملیہ اسلامیہ میں آپ کو نہ صرف تعلیم حاصل کرنے کا موقع مل رہا ہے بلکہ ایک علمی وثقافتی ماحول بھی میسر آرہا ہے ، اس لیے نہ صرف آپ اس تعلیمی ماحول سے فائدہ اٹھائیے بلکہ ان ثقافتی سرگرمیوں میں حصہ لے کر اپنی صلاحیتوں کو نکھاریے ، اور دنیا میں اپنا ایک مقام پیدا کیجیے ۔

پروگرام کا انعقاد صدر شعبۂ عربی پروفیسر فوزان احمد اور سبجیکٹ ایسوسی ایشن کے ایڈوائزر ڈاکٹر محفوظ الرحمن کی رہنمائی میں عمل میں آیا۔ سبجیکٹ ایسوسی ایشن کے نائب صدر اشتیاق احمد، جنرل سکریٹری  محمد عارض اور جوائنٹ سکریٹری  شمس القمر اور ان کی ٹیم نے مل کر اس پروگرام کو کامیاب بنانے میں اہم کردار ادا کیا۔

تقریب میں شعبۂ عربی کے اساتذہ اور طلبہ نے شرکت کی اور طلبہ کی علمی، ادبی و تخلیقی صلاحیتوں کو سراہا گیا۔

 Subject Association of Department of Arabic, JMI organizes literary and cultural performances

 The Subject Association, Department of Arabic, Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI), organised a cultural program at the Auditorium of the Faculty of Engineering. Students took part in a variety of literary and cultural performances, and the event also witnessed the launch of the students' quarterly wall magazine.

 

Professor Fauzan Ahmad, Head, Department of Arabic, presided over the program. Dr. Irshad Ahmad, former Ambassador of India to Syria and Director of the Indian Council of World Affairs, was the Guest of Honour.

 

The event began with a recitation from the Holy Quran, followed by a Naat and the Jamia Tarana. Newly admitted undergraduate and postgraduate students introduced themselves to the audience, and a few students recited ghazals.

 

The main attraction was the Arabic play Mahzala al-Sharaf ("The Farce of Honour"). It tells the story of a judge who rushes to give verdicts without thinking carefully about each case, and many people suffer as a result. Through the scene set in the Hereafter the play powerfully display the importance of justice, accountability, and human rights.

Guest of Honour Recalls His Days at Jamia

 

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Irshad Ahmad spoke about his own years at Jamia Millia Islamia. After completing his Alimiat course at Jamia al-Falah, he joined Jamia and completed his research thesis under the guidance of Professor Ziaul Hasan Nadvi.

Looking back, he said the campus did not have as many buildings or as much greenery as it does today, but it was already full of academic and research activity. He said Jamia is now not only lively but also rich in learning and research. He shared fond memories of his time at the university and spoke about his experiences, explaining how they helped him succeed at different stages of his life.

 

Professor Fauzan Ahmad thanked Dr. Irshad Ahmad for accepting the invitation. Welcoming the new students, he spoke about how important their admission to the Department of Arabic is. He advised them to value their time and said that Jamia offers not just an education but also a rich academic and cultural environment. He encouraged students to make full use of it, to take part in cultural activities to develop their talents, and to make a place for themselves in the world.

 

The program was organised under the guidance of Professor Fauzan Ahmad, Head, Department of Arabic, and Dr. Mahfoozur Rahman, Adviser to the Subject Association. Mr. Ishtiaq Ahmad (Vice President), Mr. Mohammad Ariz (General Secretary), Mr. Shamsul Qamar (Joint Secretary), and their team worked together to make the event a success.

 

The program was attended by faculty members and students of the Department of Arabic, who warmly appreciated the students' academic, literary, and creative talents.
