ALIGARH, February 14: Prof. Mohd Anwar of the Department of Ilaj Bit Tadbeer, Faculty of Unani Medicine, Aligarh Muslim University, was conferred the prestigious Hakim Ajmal Khan Award on the occasion of World Unani Day at Lucknow.

The award was presented during a function organised by the All India Unani Scholars Association at Hotel Reagent, Nirala Nagar, Lucknow. The event was attended by eminent physicians, academicians, and scholars associated with the promotion of the Unani system of medicine.

Prof. Anwar was honoured in recognition of his longstanding contributions to Unani education, research, academic development, and mentorship at the national level. He has authored three books, published over 100 research papers in reputed national and international journals, and supervised 30 M.D. theses in the field.

On the occasion, Prof. Anwar delivered a special invited lecture on “Holistic Approach in the Management of Rheumatoid Arthritis in Unani Medicine: A Scientific Appraisal.” He underscored the importance of early diagnosis and comprehensive management rooted in the fundamental principles of Unani medicine, highlighting its continued relevance in contemporary healthcare.

ALIGARH, February 14: As part of the ongoing National Science Day celebrations, the Department of Physics, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), organised a special colloquium on the theme “2025 Nobel Prize in Physics” at the Conference Hall of the Department.

On the occasion, Prof. S. S. Z. Ashraf, Department of Physics, delivered a lecture titled “Macroscopic Yet Quantum: Superconducting Circuits and the 2025 Nobel Prize in Physics.” In his presentation, he traced the historical evolution of quantum mechanics and explained the foundational concept of quantum mechanical tunnelling.

Prof. Ashraf elaborated on how the Nobel laureates employed superconducting electrical circuits to experimentally demonstrate macroscopic quantum tunnelling and discrete energy quantization in systems sufficiently large to be fabricated and manipulated directly. He highlighted the significance of these breakthroughs in bridging the gap between microscopic quantum phenomena and macroscopic physical systems.

A large number of faculty members, research scholars, and undergraduate and postgraduate students attended the session.

Faculty of Law Organises Workshop on Research Methodology

The Faculty of Law, Aligarh Muslim University, organised a one-day workshop on “Research Methodology,” bringing together scholars and students for an in-depth engagement with the principles and practices of academic research.

The workshop featured Prof. Mirza Asmer Beg, former Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences, AMU, as the keynote speaker, and Prof. Mohammad Naved Khan, Dean, Faculty of Management Studies, AMU, as the guest speaker.

Welcoming the participants, Prof. Shakeel Ahmed, Dean, Faculty of Law, outlined the objectives of the workshop, stating that it aimed to help scholars adopt a comprehensive and disciplined approach to research, ensuring both academic rigor and quality.

Prof. Mirza Asmer Beg emphasised that meaningful research demands extensive reading, clarity of research questions, and a systematic methodology. He underscored the importance of evidence-based writing free from personal bias and highlighted the relevance of qualitative research supported by empirical data within a mixed-method framework.

Prof. Mohammad Naved Khan focused on the practical dimensions of research, sharing insights from his experience and outlining essential steps for scholars—from identifying a broad area of interest to publishing in reputed indexed journals. He encouraged researchers to explore globally relevant yet underexplored themes and pursue independent academic inquiry.

In his concluding remarks, Prof. Mohd. Wasim Ali stressed the need to address emerging social issues through research. Dr. Tabassum Chaudhary, Organising Secretary, presented the workshop objectives and delivered the vote of thanks.

The programme was attended by faculty members, students, and office-bearers, and was also broadcast online for AMU’s off-campus centres at Murshidabad and Malappuram.

जामिया मिल्लिया इस्लामिया के तीन गर्ल्स हॉस्टल, यानी बेगम हज़रत महल (BHM) हॉस्टल, J&K हॉस्टल और हॉल ऑफ़ गर्ल्स रेसिडेंस (HoGR) ने मिलकर 11 फरवरी 2026 को बेगम हज़रत महल हॉस्टल कॉम्प्लेक्स में एक मज़ेदार कल्चरल फेस्टिवल, ‘मीना बाज़ार’ का आयोजन किया।

 

फेस्टिवल का उद्घाटन जेएमआई के माननीय वाइस चांसलर, प्रो. मज़हर आसिफ़ की पत्नी श्रीमती शबाया आसिफ़ ने किया। जेएमआई के रजिस्ट्रार प्रो. मो. महताब आलम रिज़वी की पत्नी डॉ. ज़ेबा नाज़, जेएमआई के परीक्षा नियंत्रक प्रो. एहतेशामुल हक की पत्नी श्रीमती हुमेरा एहतेशाम के साथ विशिष्ट अतिथि थीं।

अलीगढ़, 12 फरवरीः अलीगढ़ मुस्लिम विश्वविद्यालय के इस्लामिक स्टडीज विभाग द्वारा “विरासत और इस्लामः एक गणितीय दृष्टिकोण” विषय पर एक्स्ट्रा-म्यूरल व्याख्यान आयोजित किया गया। कार्यक्रम में इस्लामी विरासत कानून की तार्किक और सुव्यवस्थित व्यवस्था पर प्रकाश डाला गया।

सत्र की अध्यक्षता करते हुए मुफ्ती मुहम्मद जाहिद अली खान ने कहा कि इस्लामी विरासत प्रणाली एक संतुलित और ईश्वरीय मार्गदर्शन पर आधारित व्यवस्था है, जो न्याय और सामाजिक संतुलन सुनिश्चित करती है। कार्यक्रम के समन्वयक प्रो. जियाउद्दीन फलाही ने कहा कि बढ़ते हुए विरासत संबंधी विवादों के बीच यह विषय आज के समय में बेहद प्रासंगिक है।

मुख्य अतिथि डॉ. रजी-उल-इस्लाम नदवी ने कुरआन और हदीस की रोशनी में मुस्लिम महिलाओं के विरासत में हिस्से पर विस्तार से चर्चा की। उन्होंने स्पष्ट किया कि इस्लाम में बेटियों, पत्नियों और माताओं को निर्धारित और सुरक्षित हिस्सा दिया गया है तथा विरासत कानून में लैंगिक अन्याय संबंधी भ्रांतियों को खारिज किया।

मुख्य व्याख्यान इस्लामिक इनहेरिटेंस रिसर्च सेंटर, नई दिल्ली के निदेशक इंजीनियर अनवर आलम ने प्रस्तुत किया। उन्होंने व्यावहारिक उदाहरणों और संख्यात्मक विवरण के माध्यम से विरासत के बंटवारे की वैज्ञानिक और गणितीय आधारशिला को समझाया। साथ ही उन्होंने ‘हिबा’ (उपहार) और ‘वसीयत’ की अवधारणा पर प्रकाश डालते हुए कहा कि कुरआन में निर्धारित हिस्सों में कोई परिवर्तन नहीं किया जा सकता।

इस अवसर पर इंजीनियर अनवर आलम की पुस्तक “इंनहेरीटेंस शेयर आॅफ मुस्लिम वूमेन” का विमोचन प्रो. जियाउद्दीन फलाही, विभागाध्यक्ष प्रो. आदम मलिक खान, डॉ. रजी-उल-इस्लाम नदवी, मुफ्ती जाहिद अली खान और लेखक द्वारा संयुक्त रूप से किया गया।

         The Interdisciplinary Centre for Artificial Intelligence (ICAI), Aligarh Muslim University, successfully concluded a two-week Faculty Development Programme (FDP) titled “AI for All: Interdisciplinary Solutions to Real-World Problems for Sustainable Development,” held from January 28 to February 10 as a pre-summit event of the AI Impact Summit 2026 under the IndiaAI Mission.

The programme featured 20 expert-led sessions designed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, progressing from foundational concepts to advanced areas such as Deep Learning, Computer Vision, Transformer Architectures, Natural Language Processing, Prompt Engineering and Multimodal AI. Equal emphasis was laid on ethical considerations, societal impact and the responsible deployment of AI systems in the context of sustainable development.

Faculty members and research scholars from diverse disciplines, including Political Science, Education, Remote Sensing, Electrical Engineering and Medicine, participated in the FDP, reflecting its interdisciplinary orientation. Interactive lectures and hands-on sessions enabled participants to explore contemporary AI tools and methodologies relevant to teaching, research and innovation.

A 20-question assessment test was conducted at the conclusion of the programme. The valedictory session was attended by Prof M. M. Sufyan Beg, Prof Arman Rasool Faridi, Prof Rashid Ali, Dr Nadeem Akhtar, Dr Tameem Ahmad and Dr Asraful Haque, and was conducted by Ms Aysha Khan.

     अलीगढ़ मुस्लिम विश्वविद्यालय के अजमल खाँ तिब्बिया कॉलेज के कुल्लियात विभाग की सहायक प्राध्यापिका डॉ. नाज मुस्तफा द्वारा लिखित एवं संपादित दो शैक्षणिक पुस्तकों का विमोचन कुलपति प्रो. नइमा खातून के कार्यालय में किया गया।

पहली पुस्तक “प्रैक्टिस बुक इन इंग्लिश ग्रामर एंड कंपोजिशन” विशेष रूप से प्री-तिब्ब के छात्रों के लिए तैयार की गई है। इसका उद्देश्य विद्यार्थियों की अंग्रेजी व्याकरण, लेखन और संवाद क्षमता को मजबूत बनाना है, ताकि वे पढ़ाई और पेशेवर जीवन में भाषा का सही और प्रभावी उपयोग कर सकें।

दूसरी पुस्तक “इकोज ऑफ द अर्थः नैरेटिव्स ऑन सस्टेनेबिलिटी एंड एनवायरनमेंटल चेंज” एक संपादित ग्रंथ है, जिसे डॉ. एहतेशाम के सहयोग से प्रकाशित किया गया है। यह पुस्तक पर्यावरणीय स्थिरता (सस्टेनेबिलिटी) और पारिस्थितिक जिम्मेदारी से जुड़े समकालीन मुद्दों पर केंद्रित है।

पुस्तकों का विमोचन करते हुए कुलपति प्रो. नइमा खातून ने इस शैक्षणिक पहल की सराहना की और कहा कि ऐसे कार्य भाषा विकास के साथ-साथ वैश्विक स्तर पर महत्वपूर्ण विषयों, जैसे पर्यावरणीय परिवर्तन, पर भी ध्यान आकर्षित करते हैं।

इस अवसर पर डॉ. नाज मुस्तफा ने बताया कि ग्रामर और कंपोजिशन की पुस्तक प्री-तिब्ब छात्रों की बुनियादी भाषा संबंधी कमियों को दूर करने का प्रयास है, ताकि वे वैज्ञानिक विषयों को स्पष्ट और आत्मविश्वास के साथ व्यक्त कर सकें।

The Faculty of Life Sciences, Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI), successfully organized a ‘Hands-on Workshop on Systematic Review and Meta-analysis’ on 9th February 2026 under the theme “Learn Evidence Synthesis in Interdisciplinary Science.” The initiative reflects the Faculty’s continued commitment to promoting research excellence, capacity building, and advanced methodological training in contemporary scientific research. The workshop aimed to strengthen research capacity and promote evidence-based practices among students, researchers, and faculty members from diverse academic backgrounds.

 

During the inaugural session, Prof. Shama Parveen, the organizing secretary, presented an overview of the workshop and its objectives. Dean, Faculty of Life Sciences and Convener, Prof. Zahid Ashraf highlighted the critical role of data in modern science, emphasizing that reliable and high-quality data form the foundation of credible and reproducible research. He noted that systematic reviews and meta-analyses are essential tools for transforming scientific data into actionable evidence across disciplines. The inaugural session was also graced by Dr. Vikas Dhikav, Scientist ‘E’ at the Department of Health Research (DHR), Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, and Senior Medical Scientist at the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR). A distinguished medical professional and researcher, Dr. Dhikav emphasized the growing importance of systematic reviews and highlighted the one-of-a-kind interdisciplinary nature of the workshop in India, which brought together participants from diverse fields, including basic sciences, biological sciences, clinical medicine, dentistry, engineering, and education.

 

The inaugural session was followed by an insightful keynote lecture delivered by Dr. Vikas Dhikav, who provided participants with a comprehensive introduction to the fundamentals of systematic reviews. He explained the importance of formulating clear and focused research questions using the PICO framework (Population, Intervention, Comparison, and Outcome) and outlined key methodological principles underlying evidence-based research. Building on these foundations, Prof. Sudha Chandelia (Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital) guided participants through the essential methodological steps involved in conducting systematic reviews, including PROSPERO registration, protocol development, comprehensive literature search strategies, study selection, data extraction, and critical appraisal of evidence. Her engaging session helped participants bridge theoretical concepts with practical applications necessary for producing high-quality reviews. Dr. Manya Prasad (AIIMS, New Delhi) further enriched the workshop with an in-depth session on meta-analysis, where she explained core concepts, interpretation of pooled findings, and the importance of meta-analysis in strengthening the conclusions of systematic reviews.

 

Adding a policy and funding perspective, Dr. Saurabh Verma from DHR provided an overview of various DHR schemes and initiatives, discussing research opportunities, eligibility criteria, and the role of national programs in advancing evidence-based healthcare in India. He highlighted funding opportunities, training programs, collaborative platforms, and eligibility criteria, encouraging young researchers to actively engage with national research initiatives.The technical sessions were complemented by an informative presentation by Mr. Ravindra Gupta from Elsevier Life Sciences, who introduced participants to the EMBASE database, demonstrating its advanced search features and practical strategies for retrieving high-quality biomedical literature essential for systematic reviews and research.The workshop was further strengthened by an impressive panel of Chairpersons from reputed institutes, whose academic expertise and thoughtful moderation enriched the scientific discussions.

 

The major highlight of the workshop was an engaging hands-on session on RevMan (Review Manager) conducted by Prof. Prabudh Goel (AIIMS, New Delhi). Participants received practical training on organizing systematic review data, conducting meta-analysis, and generating forest plots and other visual outputs. Prof. Goel guided attendees step-by-step through the key functionalities of RevMan, enabling them to apply methodological concepts in a real-time learning environment. The interactive nature of the session enhanced participants’ technical skills and boosted their confidence in conducting and presenting systematic reviews effectively.

 

The workshop witnessed an enthusiastic response with 130 registered participants representing prestigious institutions including Jawaharlal Nehru University, University of Delhi, Aligarh Muslim University, Jamia Millia Islamia, Delhi Technological University, Amity University Noida, Gautam Buddha University, SGT University, Noida International University, Graphic Era University (Dehradun), Maharishi Dayanand University (Rohtak), and Kurukshetra University. The programme was further enriched by doctors from leading medical institutions such as AIIMS New Delhi, Vardhman Mahavir Medical College and Safdarjung Hospital, Hamdard Institute of Medical Sciences, and Teerthanker Mahaveer Medical College and Research Centre, Moradabad. Dentists, physiotherapists, and participants from diverse disciplines including Engineering, Psychology, and Education also contributed to the interdisciplinary learning environment.

 

The interactive format of the workshop enabled participants to clarify concepts, exchange ideas, and build confidence in conducting high-quality systematic reviews and meta-analyses. The vibrant and interdisciplinary participation reflected the growing relevance and broad applicability of evidence synthesis across multiple domains of science, healthcare, and education.

AMU Scholar Awarded Prestigious ICSSR Senior Fellowship

ALIGARH, February 10: Dr Nizamuddin Khan, former Chairman, Department of Geography and presently associated as a researcher with the Interdisciplinary Department of Remote Sensing and GIS Applications at Aligarh Muslim University, has been awarded the Senior Fellowship by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) for the academic year 2025–26, marking a significant academic distinction for the University.

Dr Khan will undertake a two-year research project titled “Impact Assessment of Rural Markets on Socio-Economic Transformation of Rural Population in Aligarh District: Using Geospatial Technologies.” The study aims to analyse the role of rural markets in socio-economic change through advanced geospatial tools and methodologies.

The fellowship carries a monthly stipend of ₹45,000 and is granted under the ICSSR’s Senior Fellowship scheme, which supports high-quality social science research of national relevance.

ALIGARH, February 10: A one-day Unani Mega Sale was organised by Dawakhana Tibbiya College (DTC), Aligarh Muslim University, at the Faculty of Arts Lawns, drawing an encouraging response from students, staff members and local residents.

The event was inaugurated by Vice-Chancellor Prof Naima Khatoon along with former Vice-Chancellor Prof Mohammad Gulrez, in the presence of Pro Vice-Chancellor Prof Mohd Mohsin Khan, Registrar Prof Aasim Zafar, Member In-Charge Prof Riaz Ahmad and Sharique Azam, officiating Manager, DTC.

Addressing the gathering, Prof Naima Khatoon highlighted the scientific legacy of traditional systems of medicine and said that such initiatives help make affordable, natural and preventive healthcare accessible to the community while strengthening confidence in indigenous knowledge systems.

The Mega Sale aimed to promote awareness of the Unani system of medicine. On the occasion, “Sharbat Dil Zeal”, a ready-to-drink Unani beverage developed by DTC, was formally launched. Prepared using natural ingredients such as dates, apples, figs and raisins, the drink has been introduced as an energy booster for the month of Ramadan.

Prof Mohammad Gulrez emphasised the continued relevance of Unani medicine in contemporary healthcare while Pro Vice-Chancellor Prof Mohd Mohsin Khan noted that the strong public response reflected growing trust in natural systems of medicine.

Prof Riaz Ahmad said that a wide range of Unani medicines and health preparations were offered at discounted rates, along with free consultations by qualified hakims.

Several faculty members and University officials attended the event, reflecting broad institutional support for promoting traditional healthcare practices.

 

National Seminar on Socio-Cultural Aspects of Indian Folk Literature

एएमयू के रिमोट सेंसिंग एवं जीआईएस विभाग के छात्रों ने राष्ट्रीय और अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर पर बड़ी सफलता हासिल की

अलीगढ़, 11 फरवरीः अलीगढ़ मुस्लिम विश्वविद्यालय के इंटरडिसिप्लिनरी रिमोट सेंसिंग एवं जीआईएस एप्लीकेशंस विभाग के छात्रों ने राष्ट्रीय और अंतरराष्ट्रीय प्रतिष्ठित संस्थानों में शैक्षणिक व पेशेवर पद प्राप्त कर विभाग की बढ़ती शैक्षणिक पहचान को नई ऊंचाई दी है।

अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर पर अरीना का चयन न्यूजीलैंड के यूनिवर्सिटी ऑफ वाइकाटो में पीएचडी कार्यक्रम के लिए हुआ है, जबकि एम.डी. जैद कमर ने इटली के पार्थेनोप यूनिवर्सिटी ऑफ नेपल्स में यूनेस्को चेयर इन एनवायरनमेंट, रिसोर्स एंड सस्टेनेबल डेवलपमेंट के अंतर्गत इंटरनेशनल पीएचडी प्रोग्राम में प्रवेश प्राप्त किया है।

राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर अहसन सईद का चयन आईआईटी गुवाहाटी के जियोमैटिक्स विषय में पीएचडी कार्यक्रम के लिए हुआ है। इसके अलावा मंताशा, तौहीद अहमद अंसारी और जुहैल अब्दुल्लाह का चयन नेशनल इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ हाइड्रोलॉजी, रुड़की में जूनियर रिसोर्स पर्सन के रूप में हुआ है।

कॉर्पोरेट क्षेत्र में शाइस्ता परवीन को टाटा स्टील लिमिटेड, जमशेदपुर में असिस्टेंट मैनेजर नियुक्त किया गया है, जबकि जुवेरिया अकील का चयन डब्ल्यूएसपी, बेंगलुरु में आकर्षक वेतन पैकेज के साथ हुआ है।

विभागाध्यक्ष् डॉ. हारिस हसन खान ने छात्रों को बधाई देते हुए कहा कि उनकी उपलब्धियां व्यक्तिगत मेहनत के साथ-साथ विभाग के मजबूत शैक्षणिक और शोध वातावरण का भी प्रमाण हैं, जिसने रिमोट सेंसिंग और जियोस्पेशियल विज्ञान के क्षेत्र में उत्कृष्टता को बढ़ावा दिया है

उर्दू का अन्य भारतीय भाषाओं से साहित्यिक आदान-प्रदान के साथ  गहरा भावात्मक संबंध है- प्रो. शंभुनाथ तिवारी

अलीगढ़, 10 फरवरीः “भारत की राष्ट्रीय अस्मिता और गौरव की दृष्टि से राम-कृष्ण-गंगा और हिमालय हमारी वैश्विक पहचान सुनिश्चित करते हैं। हमारी अस्मिता के ये सारे प्रतीक भारत की सभी भाषाओं के साहित्य में व्यापक रूप में अभिव्यक्त होते हुए दिखाई देते हैं। चाहे गालिब का ‘चिरागे -दहर’  हो या इकबाल  की नज्मों में ‘राम’ और ‘हिमालय’  का खूबसूरत जिक्र हो, चाहे नजीर अकबराबादी के ‘किसन कन्हैया’  हों, या नजीर बनारसी की ‘गंगा’ और ‘उनके राम-कृष्ण’  हों, सभी  इन राष्ट्रीय  गौरवशाली प्रतीकों से अपनी शायरी को हिंदुस्तान की पहचान के रूप में  पेश  करते हैं।”  ये विचार अलीगढ़ मुस्लिम यूनिवर्सिटी के हिंदी विभाग के वरिष्ठ प्रोफेसर शंभुनाथ तिवारी ने राष्ट्रीय उर्दू भाषा विकास परिषद, नई दिल्ली द्वारा इंडिया इंटरनेशनल सेंटर में  आयोजित तीन दिवसीय  ‘विश्व उर्दू सम्मेलन’ के एक तकनीकी सत्र  में व्यक्त किए।

संस्कृत-हिंदी-उर्दू जैसी भाषाओं के बीच भावों के आपसी आदान-प्रदान पर व्यापक रूप से बातचीत करते हुए प्रो. शंभुनाथ तिवारी ने कहा- “ सांस्कृतिक समन्वय और भावों के आपसी आदान-प्रदान के नजरिए से विभिन्न भाषाओं के साहित्य की अहम भूमिका होती है।  भारतीय  परिप्रेक्ष्य में यहाँ की बहुभाषायी परंपरा और बहुभाषिक सहअस्तित्व की भावना सामाजिक और सांस्कृतिक समन्वय को आधार देकर उसे मजबूत बनाती है। उर्दू का अन्य भारतीय भाषाओं से साहित्यिक आदान-प्रदान के साथ  गहरा भावात्मक संबंध है। कुछ प्रमुख भारतीय भाषाओं के क्रम में  विचार करें, तो भारत की सबसे प्राचीन भाषा  संस्कृत और  आधुनिक दृष्टि से हिंदी और उर्दू भारतीय उपमहाद्वीप की ऐसी तीन प्रमुख भाषाएँ हैं भाषायी और साहित्यिक संबंध तथा परस्पर  आदान-प्रदान की दृष्टि से महत्वपूर्ण हैं।

उर्दू के हवाले से भाषाएँ अनेक-भाव एक, पर बात करते हुए उन्होंने ने कहा, ‘भाषा चाहे कोई हो, पर सांस्कृतिक दृष्टि से भाव सभी भाषाओं में एक ही होता है। भाषाओं के आपसी आदान-प्रदान से भावाभिव्यक्ति का यह सौंदर्य सांस्कृतिक सहअस्तित्व और समन्वयात्मकता की दृष्टि से बहुत महत्वपूर्ण है। सामाजिक-साम्प्रदायिक सौहार्द में भाषाओं के योगदान को नजरअंदाज नहीं किया जा सकता।  इस आदान प्रदान ने भारतीय समाज में बहुलता, सहअस्तित्व और सांप्रदायिक सौहार्द की भावना को सुदृढ़ किया है। हिंदी-उर्दू के पारस्परिक संबंधों और  भावों की समानता की दृष्टि से उत्तर मुगल काल ( रीतिकाल) की अवधि में रचा गया हिंदी-उर्दू का साहित्य बहुत उल्लेखनीय है। दोनों में एक सी  समान काव्यप्रवृतियाँ दोनों साहित्य के विशाल पाठक वर्ग को जोड़ने में समर्थ हैं।

कल जामिया मिल्लिया इस्लामिया (JMI) के डॉ. एम.ए. अंसारी ऑडिटोरियम में हुए जामिया सीनियर सेकेंडरी स्कूल के वार्षिक कार्यक्रम के मौके पर, माननीय केंद्रीय शिक्षा राज्य मंत्री डॉ. सुकांत मजूमदार ने एक वीडियो मैसेज में यूनिवर्सिटी और स्कूल प्रशासन को NEP-2020 को पूरी तरह से अपनाने के लिए बधाई दी। उन्होंने कहा, "मुझे यह जानकर खुशी हो रही है कि जामिया ने वैल्यू-बेस्ड एजुकेशन, इंडियन नॉलेज सिस्टम, स्किल डेवलपमेंट, डिजिटल लिटरेसी, साइंटिफिक टेम्पर, इनोवेशन, AI अवेयरनेस और एंटरप्रेन्योरशिप को इंटीग्रेट करके अपने करिकुलम को NEP-2020 के साथ अलाइन किया है, जिससे स्टूडेंट्स भारत को विकसित भारत 2047 के विज़न की ओर ले जाने के लिए तैयार हो रहे हैं।"

 

स्टूडेंट्स को अपने टीचर्स और पेरेंट्स का सम्मान करने की अपील करते हुए, डॉ. मजूमदार ने कहा, "प्रिय छात्रों, सफलता सिर्फ़ मार्क्स या रैंक से नहीं बल्कि कैरेक्टर, इंटीग्रिटी, रेजिलिएंस और समाज की सेवा करने की आपकी इच्छा से देखी जाती है। बड़े सपने देखें, कड़ी मेहनत करें, अपने टीचर्स और पेरेंट्स का सम्मान करें, और शिक्षा को सिर्फ़ पर्सनल सफलता के लिए ही नहीं, बल्कि देश में बदलाव लाने के लिए एक टूल की तरह इस्तेमाल करें। पेरेंट्स और टीचर्स युवा प्रतिभाओं को नर्चर करने में अहम भूमिका निभाते हैं, और बच्चों के होलिस्टिक ग्रोथ के लिए उनकी पार्टनरशिप ज़रूरी है। मैं अगली पीढ़ी को बनाने में उनके डेडिकेशन और पक्के सपोर्ट को मानता हूँ।"

 

देश के विकास और तरक्की के लिए आने वाली पीढ़ियों को ट्रेनिंग देने की अहमियत पर ध्यान देते हुए, डॉ. मजूमदार ने कहा, "जैसे-जैसे भारत विकसित भारत 2047 के विज़न के साथ आगे बढ़ रहा है, आज के स्टूडेंट्स कल के लीडर, इनोवेटर और ज़िम्मेदार नागरिक होंगे। नेशनल एजुकेशन रिफॉर्म्स के ज़रिए मज़बूत नींव रखी जा रही है, मुझे पूरा भरोसा है कि हमारे युवा स्टूडेंट्स इस ज़िम्मेदारी को ज़रूर निभाएंगे।"

 

"माननीय प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेंद्र मोदी जी के दूरदर्शी नेतृत्व में, स्कूली शिक्षा को देश के विकास के केंद्र में रखा गया है। नेशनल एजुकेशन पॉलिसी 2020 ने कॉम्पिटेंसी-बेस्ड लर्निंग, एक्सपीरिएंशियल पेडागॉजी, मल्टीलिंगिज़्म और होलिस्टिक ग्रोथ के ज़रिए शिक्षा को नए सिरे से सोचा है। समग्र शिक्षा, NIPUN भारत, PM SHRI स्कूल, दीक्षा, PM ई-विद्या और विद्या समीक्षा केंद्र जैसी पहलें इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर को मज़बूत कर रही हैं, सीखने के नतीजों में सुधार कर रही हैं, टीचर्स को सशक्त बना रही हैं, और शिक्षा को इनक्लूसिव, जॉयफुल और भविष्य के लिए तैयार बनाने के लिए टेक्नोलॉजी का फ़ायदा उठा रही हैं।" माननीय केंद्रीय मंत्री डॉ. मजूमदार जी ने कहा।

पवित्र कुरान की एक आयत के पाठ और जामिया तराना के गायन के बाद, स्कूल के प्रिंसिपल, डॉ. मोहम्मद अरशद खान ने एनुअल रिपोर्ट 2025-26 पेश की और स्वागत संबोधन दिया। उन्होंने स्कूल की एकेडमिक एक्टिविटीज़ और पिछले वर्ष की शैक्षणिक उप्लब्धियों की एक छोटी रिपोर्ट पेश की, जिसमें NSS एक्टिविटीज़ में हिस्सा लेना भी शामिल था, जिसका उद्घाटन पिछले साल जेएमआई के वाइस चांसलर प्रो. मज़हर आसिफ़ ने स्कूल स्टूडेंट्स के लिए किया था।

 

रंग-बिरंगी सांस्कृतिक प्रस्तुति, जिनमें कव्वाली और बंगाली डांस परफॉर्मेंस खास थे, उनके बाद एक पुरस्कार वितरण कार्यक्रम हुआ जिसमें अलग-अलग कैटेगरी में टॉपर्स को एकेडमिक और नॉन-एकेडमिक अवॉर्ड दिए गए।

 

इस मौके पर विशिष्ट अतिथि, जेएमआई के रजिस्ट्रार, प्रो. मोहम्मद महताब आलम रिज़वी ने केंद्रीय मंत्री श्री मजूमदार जी का मैसेज दोहराया और जेएमआई को लगातार सपोर्ट देने के लिए उनका बहुत शुक्रिया अदा किया। प्रो. रिज़वी ने उन सभी स्टूडेंट्स को शुभकामनाएं दीं जो आने वाले स्कूल बोर्ड्स में शामिल होंगे। उन्होंने स्कूल के टीचर्स और स्टाफ की भी तारीफ की कि उन्होंने एक मजबूत फाउंडेशन दिया है जिससे स्टूडेंट्स की काबिलियत को निखारने में मदद मिली है।

 

उनकी कामयाबियों के बारे में बताते हुए, प्रो. रिज़वी ने कहा कि पढ़ाई के अलग-अलग स्ट्रीम में बेहतरीन प्रदर्शन करके और नेशनल लेवल के कॉम्पिटिटिव एग्जाम में टॉप रैंक हासिल करके, जामिया सीनियर सेकेंडरी स्कूल के स्टूडेंट्स ने अपने जूनियर्स के लिए एक बेंचमार्क सेट किया है। उन्होंने भरोसा जताया कि जामिया स्कूल दिल्ली के सबसे अच्छे स्कूलों से मुकाबला करने के लिए अच्छी स्थिति में हैं और इस बात पर ज़ोर दिया कि उन्हें "जल्द ही एकेडमिक एक्सीलेंस और को-करिकुलर एक्टिविटीज़ दोनों में नए स्टैंडर्ड सेट करके रोल मॉडल के तौर पर उभरना चाहिए"।

 

जेएमआई के वाइस चांसलर, प्रो. मज़हर आसिफ़ ने अपने प्रेसिडेंशियल भाषण में बुल्लेशाह की एक खूबसूरत कविता सुनाई, और माननीय मंत्री जी के वीडियो में कहे गए कीमती शब्दों के लिए उनका शुक्रिया अदा किया। यह कहते हुए कि सबसे अच्छा अभी आना बाकी है, उन्होंने स्कूल को शानदार परफॉर्मेंस के लिए बधाई दी। प्रो. आसिफ ने कहा कि जामिया स्कूल अपने करिकुलम को NEP 2020 के साथ सफलतापूर्वक अलाइन करने के लिए कड़ी मेहनत कर रहे हैं, यह एक ऐसा कदम है जो सीखने के शुरुआती सालों से ही स्किल-बेस्ड और वैल्यू-बेस्ड एजुकेशन के इंटीग्रेशन को मजबूत करेगा। उन्होंने आगे कहा कि जामिया एडमिनिस्ट्रेशन अपने स्कूलों के लिए नेशनल और इंटरनेशनल पहचान दिलाने के लिए एक्टिव रूप से काम कर रहा है, और कहा कि मिनिस्ट्री ऑफ़ एजुकेशन के अधिकारियों के साथ बातचीत पहले से ही चल रही है। स्टूडेंट की भलाई पर जोर देते हुए, प्रो. आसिफ़ ने कहा कि "प्रशासन का फोकस सेफ और सिक्योर स्कूल माहौल बनाने पर है, जहां युवा प्रतिभाओं को उनकी पूरी क्षमता का एहसास कराने के लिए नर्चर किया जा सके।"

 

इस मौके पर जामिया सीनियर सेकेंडरी स्कूल की सालाना मैगज़ीन, पयाम-ए-तालीम 2026 भी रिलीज़ की गई। यह ध्यान देने वाली बात है कि यह मैगज़ीन जेएमआई के परीक्षा नियंत्रक, प्रो. एहतेशामुल हक के निर्देशन में जेएमआई के जामिया प्रेस द्वारा प्रिंट की गई है।

 

इस कार्यक्रम में विश्वविद्यालय के अधिकारी, परीक्षा नियंत्रक, चीफ प्रॉक्टर, प्रो. असद मलिक और उनकी टीम, स्टूडेंट्स वेलफेयर की डीन, प्रो. नीलोफर अफजल, फैकल्टी के डीन, डिपार्टमेंट के हेड, सेंटर के डायरेक्टर, जेएमआई के बॉयज और गर्ल्स हॉस्टल के प्रोवोस्ट, सभी जामिया स्कूलों के प्रिंसिपल, स्कूल शिक्षक, संकाय सदस्य, यूनिवर्सिटी स्टाफ और बड़ी संख्या में स्कूल के छात्र शामिल हुए।
