AMU JNMC Doctor Presents Liver Cancer Research at International Conference in Brussels
ALIGARH, September 12: Dr. Muhammad Uwais Ashraf, Department of Medicine, J.N. Medical College (JNMC), Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), presented his research at the International Liver Cancer Association (ILCA) Annual Conference 2026, held in Brussels, Belgium.
His research, titled “Predicting Atezolizumab-Bevacizumab Response in HCC: Head-to-Head Comparison of ALBI and CRAFITY Scoring Systems”, addresses an important clinical question in the management of advanced hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). The study compared the ALBI and CRAFITY scoring systems for their ability to predict patient response to Atezolizumab-Bevacizumab, a standard first-line treatment for advanced HCC, with the aim of supporting more personalised and cost-effective care in the Indian setting.
