Six AMU Students Selected by Qualcomm in Campus Placement Drive
Aligarh, September 2: Six students of Zakir Husain College of Engineering & Technology (ZHCET), Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), have been selected by Qualcomm, a globally renowned technology and innovation company, through a campus placement drive conducted recently at the Training and Placement Office, ZHCET.
Qualcomm visited AMU for the first time for campus recruitment. The selection process comprised multiple stages of assessment and interviews, through which the students demonstrated their technical knowledge, problem-solving abilities and overall aptitude.
The selected students, Bhomik Varshney, Kunjal Varshney, Mohammad Anas, Al Amin, M. Arif Rainee and M. Sheezan Khan, are all B.Tech. (Computer), 2027 batch students.
Prof. Mohammad Muzammil, Principal, ZHCET, congratulated the selected students and appreciated the efforts of the Training and Placement Office in facilitating the placement drive.
Prof. Moina Athar, Training and Placement Incharge, ZHCET, thanked the Qualcomm team for conducting the recruitment process and giving ZHCET students an opportunity to begin their careers with a leading technology company. She said, “The University looks forward to strengthening its association with Qualcomm and hopes that this collaboration will continue to provide more opportunities for AMU students in the years to come.”
She also congratulated the students and said their selection would encourage others to strive for excellence in academics, technology and professional careers.
