NIRF-2023: JMI improves its position in Law, Architecture, Dental and Management

 Improves rank in Overall category, retains 3^rd rank among universities

 

Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI), a NAAC A⁺⁺ accredited central university retained its 3^rd position in Universities Category in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) India Rankings 2023 for the second consecutive year. JMI not only maintained its rank in University Category but also improved its rank from 13^th last year to 12^th this year in Overall category.

 

As per the NIRF data, the areas in which JMI has performed very well are - Law, Dental, Architecture & Planning, Research, Engineering and Management. 

 

In law, JMI improved its position from 7^th last year to 5^th this year while in Architecture & Planning, JMI significantly improved its rank from 9^th to 6^th. The most significant achievement has been seen in Dental where JMI improved its rank from 16^th last year to 10^th this year. In Engineering, JMI maintained its position at 26^th best engineering college in the country. In research, JMI is at 20^th position in the country among all the institutes.
