Six AMU Engineering Students Selected by BPCL
ALIGARH, March 7: Six students of Zakir Husain College of Engineering and Technology (ZHCET), Aligarh Muslim University, have been selected as Management Trainees by Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), a Government of India undertaking, in a campus placement drive jointly organised by the Training and Placement Office (General) and the Training and Placement Office, ZHCET.
The selected students are Hisham Farooq (B.Tech. Electrical Engineering), Mohd Tauheed Khan (B.E. – Mechanical Engineering), Arshad Ali (B.E. Mechanical Engineering), Kunal Sharma (B.Tech. Mechanical Engineering), Saif Shakeel (B.Tech. Mechanical Engineering) and Mohd Fahad (B.Tech. Electrical Engineering). They have secured placements with an impressive starting salary of ₹20.45 lakh per annum after clearing multiple rounds of assessment.
Principal, ZHCET, Prof Mohammad Muzammil congratulated the students on their achievement and said that their selection in a prestigious organisation like BPCL reflects their dedication, technical competence and the strong academic foundation provided at AMU and ZHCET.
He also appreciated the efforts of the AMU Training and Placement Office team for continuously facilitating valuable career opportunities for students and strengthening the University’s industry linkages.
