AMU Faculty Member Dr. Javid Ali Strengthens International Academic Collaboration through Singapore, Indonesia Visits

ALIGARH, July 15:Dr. Javid Ali, Department of Mathematics, Aligarh Muslim University, undertook a series of academic visits to leading universities in Singapore and Indonesia during June 2026, delivering invited lectures and exploring avenues for international research collaboration and academic exchange.

At the National University of Singapore, he met Prof. Ng Kah Loon, Vice-Dean, Faculty of Science, to discuss collaborative research and student exchange programmes. During his visit to the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), Indonesia, he delivered an expert lecture on Fixed Point Iterations: Convergence and Stability Analysis and held discussions on joint research and PhD supervision with senior faculty members.

Dr. Ali also delivered a keynote address on Controllability of ψ-Hilfer Fractional Dynamical Systems at the International Conference on Functional Analysis, Differential Equations and Modelling, held at the Education University of Indonesia, Bandung.

At Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), Yogyakarta, with which AMU signed an MoU in 2023, he delivered an expert lecture on Fixed Point Algorithms: Convergence Analysis and Applications and explored opportunities for collaborative research and joint doctoral supervision with faculty members.

Dr. Ali has published 82 research papers in SCI/Scopus-indexed international journals, edited a Springer conference proceedings volume, supervised four PhD scholars, and guided 22 master's dissertations. He has also organized a GIAN course and visited more than 40 foreign universities for academic collaborations and research, further enhancing AMU's international academic engagement.
