20 AMU Students Selected as Gandhi Fellows in Piramal Foundation
ALIGARH, July 14: Twenty students of Aligarh Muslim University have been selected as Gandhi Fellows in the Piramal Foundation through a campus placement drive organized by the Training and Placement Office (General), AMU.
The selected students represent diverse academic disciplines, including Science, Arts, Law, Social Sciences, Management, and Commerce. The Gandhi Fellowship, the flagship leadership development programme of the Piramal Foundation, equips young graduates with field experience, leadership training, mentorship, and opportunities to work with government institutions and communities to bring about meaningful improvements in education and social development.
According to Mr. Saad Hameed, Training and Placement Officer (General), the students selected after multiple rounds of assessments are Megha Baghel, Fariha Kafeel, Shiza Fardeen, Mamoon Yasin, Kunal Pandey, Sara Anoosh, Zainab, Mohammad Shahid, Faqiha Khan, Rashid Siddiqui, Madhulika Sharma, Abdullah Khan, Subhan Khan, Syed Affan Hasan, Aanshi Varshney, Hammad Ahmad, Manisha Kumari, Habiba Aktar Choudhury, Amir Ateek Khan, and Adil M.
Mr. Hameed said the selection reflects the students' academic excellence, leadership potential, and commitment to creating a positive social impact.
