AMU to Host GIAN Course on Drug Discovery and Delivery on November 25
The Interdisciplinary Nanotechnology Centre (INC), Aligarh Muslim University, will host a Global Initiative of Academic Networks (GIAN) course titled “A Multidisciplinary Approach Towards Drug Discovery and Delivery” on November 25, 2025.
Prof. Naima Khatoon, Vice Chancellor, is the Chief Patron of the event. Mr. Syed Ahmad, CEO of Tech Invention, will attend as the Chief Guest, while Dr.Imadul Islam, Foreign Faculty at King Abdullah International Medical Research Center (KAIMRC), Saudi Arabia, will participate as Guest of Honour.
The course is being coordinated by Dr. Mohammad Azhar Aziz, Interdisciplinary Nanotechnology Centre, and is supported by Prof. Nesar Ahmad, Dean, Faculty of Engineering and Technology; Prof. Mohammad Muzammil, Principal, Zakir Husain College of Engineering and Technology; Prof. Absar Ahmad, Director, INC; and Prof. M. J. Warsi, Local GIAN Coordinator.
The programme aims to equip participants with advanced knowledge on innovative methodologies in drug discovery, nanotechnology-enabled drug delivery systems and interdisciplinary research approaches in cutting-edge biomedical sciences.The event will bring together leading academicians and industry experts for an advanced academic exchange.
