AMU Department of Business Administration Inaugurates New Student Facilities

ALIGARH, April 10: The Department of Business Administration, Faculty of Management Studies and Research (FMSR), Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), inaugurated a newly created Reception Room and a renovated Girls’ Common Room, marking a step towards strengthening student facilities and departmental infrastructure.

The facilities were inaugurated by Prof. Nishat Fatima, University Librarian, Maulana Azad Library and Professor, Department of Library and Information Science, who appreciated the initiative and described the additions as valuable for enhancing the academic environment.

The event was attended by Prof. M. Naved Khan, Dean, FMSR, Prof. Salma Ahmed, Chairperson, and Prof. Valeed Ansari, Senior Professor, along with faculty members and staff.

The Girls’ Common Room has been upgraded to provide improved amenities and a more comfortable and supportive space for female students, while the Reception Room has been designed to facilitate better coordination and administrative efficiency within the department.

Faculty members highlighted that such student-centric initiatives contribute to academic productivity as well as overall well-being, reflecting the department’s commitment to creating an inclusive and progressive learning environment.
