Art Belleza 2026 Concludes at AMU with Enthusiastic Participation

Art Belleza 2026, an exhibition-cum-fest organised by the Department of Fine Arts, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), concluded with a vibrant closing ceremony, marking the successful culmination of the multi-day event.

The event was graced by the Chief Guest, AMU Vice Chancellor Prof. Naima Khatoon and Guest of Honour Prof. Azarmi Dukht Safavi, Founding Director, IPR, AMU. The fest drew a large number of visitors, including students, families and art enthusiasts, who appreciated the diverse artistic displays and lively ambience.

Addressing the gathering, Prof. Naima Khatoon commended the department for its collective efforts and creativity, and assured support for further strengthening its infrastructure and development. Prof. Safavi also appreciated the initiative and the enthusiasm of the participants.

Earlier, the dignitaries were welcomed by faculty members and students. Volunteers, heads and co-heads were felicitated with certificates and mementos in recognition of their contributions. Dr. Abid Hadi, Chairperson of the Department and Convener of the fest, highlighted the significance of such platforms in nurturing artistic talent.

Fest Coordinator Adnan Khan, in his remarks, acknowledged the dedication and teamwork of students and organisers in making the event a success.

A highlight of the closing ceremony was the announcement of extending the fest by an additional day, approved by the Vice Chancellor, which was received with great enthusiasm by the participants.

The fest, held over four days, showcased a wide spectrum of artistic expression and creativity, leaving behind a sense of accomplishment and inspiration for future editions.
