NSS AMU Organises Self-Defense Workshop 2026 in Collaboration with Social Organisations
ALIGARH, February 27: The National Service Scheme (NSS), Aligarh Muslim University, in collaboration with the Zuberi Welfare Society and India’s International Movement to Unite Nations, organised “Self-Defense Workshop 2026” to equip students and youth with practical safety skills.
The workshop focused on real-life self-defense techniques delivered by certified instructors, aiming to promote self-reliance, confidence and personal security. Open to both boys and girls, the programme was conducted free of cost, and participants were awarded e-certificates.
Dr Mohammad Mohsin Khan, NSS Coordinator, Asmat Ali Khan Zuberi, Prof Naseem Ahmad Khan and international athlete Asrar Ahmad were present as chief guest and mentors. The event was coordinated by Farhan Zuberi along with certified physical trainer Mehvish Khan, Fiza Shawar and Anamta Khan, under the supervision of Programme Officer Dr Abdul Jabbar. Support for the initiative was extended by FitVish and Tutorbuzz.
