ALIGARH, August 18: The National Cadet Corps (NCC) Unit at the Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) has invited students to enrol in the 1/8 and 2/8 Companies of NCC, AMU, offering them opportunities for leadership development, personality building, physical and mental fitness and national integration.
NCC enrolment also provides several benefits, including eligibility for the Services Selection Board (SSB) interview, reserved seats in Agniveer and other forces, preference in Public Service Commission (PSC) and Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) examinations, and benefits in admission to various courses.
Interested students may visit the NCC Campus, located opposite the Department of Geography (behind the Vice Chancellor’s Lodge), AMU, for enrolment.
The NCC programme seeks to inculcate leadership, discipline, social responsibility and a spirit of service among students. The enrolment drive carries the message, “Be a Part of NCC – Build Leadership, Character & Nation,” reflecting the NCC motto, “Unity and Discipline.”
