AMU Research Scholar Presents Paper at National Conference on GST Reforms at JMI

ALIGARH, August 24: Abdullah Imran, Research Scholar, Department of Agricultural Economics and Business Management, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), presented a research paper at the two-day National Conference on “GST Reforms for Viksit Bharat: Strengthening Indian Socio-Economic Transformation for 2047”, organised by the Department of Commerce and Business Studies, Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI), New Delhi, in collaboration with the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR).

Presenting his paper, “Digital Payments and Trust in Rural India: A UPI Study in the GST Context”, Abdullah Imran examined the role of UPI and digital payments in strengthening trust and financial inclusion in rural India in the context of GST reforms.

The research work was carried out under the supervision of Dr.Shamsuzzaman. Prof. Akram Ahmad, Chairman, Department of Agricultural Economics & Business Management, AMU, congratulated Abdullah Imran on his presentation.
