AMU Alumnus Receives Research Excellence Award in Saudi Arabia
ALIGARH, May 30: Dr. Sohaib Alam, an alumnus of Aligarh Muslim University and Associate Professor of Applied Linguistics in the Department of English Language and Literature, College of Sciences and Humanities, Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University, Saudi Arabia, has been honoured with the Research Excellence Award by the Dean of the College in recognition of his outstanding scholarly contributions.
The award acknowledges exceptional research achievements and contributions that have enhanced the university’s research profile at national and international levels. The selection was made by the Deanship of Research and Graduate Studies based on internationally recognised indicators, including research quality, citation impact, international collaborations and overall contribution to research excellence.
Specialising in Applied Linguistics, English Language Teaching, Educational Technologies and Artificial Intelligence in Education, Dr. Alam was ranked among the top five researchers at Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University from a pool of 3,025 researchers. He has published more than 60 research papers in reputed Scopus and Web of Science-indexed journals.
