ALIGARH, May 15: Sports activities at the Meston Swimming Pool, Aligarh Muslim University, resumed from May 11, with previously notified timings for different categories of users.
According to Prof Fazal ur Rehman, President, Swimming Pool, school boys up to Class XII will be allowed access to the pool from 4 pm to 5 pm, university students from 5 pm to 6 pm and university staff members from 6 pm to 7 pm from Monday to Thursday and on Saturdays.
On Sundays, school boys may use the pool from 7 am to 8 am, university students from 8 am to 9 am and university staff members from 9 am to 10 am. The swimming pool will remain closed on Fridays.
Prof Rehman informed that application forms duly signed by the concerned Provost, Principal or Chief Medical Officer along with the prescribed fee may be submitted at the Swimming Club office for availing the facilities.
He advised users to follow the prescribed rules and maintain discipline for the smooth functioning of the swimming facilities.
