Dr Ashima Rao prize winner at International Dermatology Conference with Dr Mohammad Adil Prof Syed Suhail Amin and Dr Saima Naaz at Department of Dermatology
AMU Student Wins Prize at International Dermatology Conference
ALIGARH, May 6: Dr Ashima Rao, an M.D. (DVL) student from the Department of Dermatology, Aligarh Muslim University, secured third prize at the 26th International Pigment Cell Conference and 7th PIGMENTARYCON 2026 held at the India Habitat Centre, New Delhi.
She presented a research paper titled “Assessment of Hematological Indicators of Systemic Inflammation and Oxidative Stress in Patients with Vitiligo” during the conference, organised by the International Federation of Pigment Cell Societies and the Asian Society for Pigment Cell Research.
Dr Mohammad Adil, Chairman of the Department of Dermatology and supervisor of the research work, along with faculty members Prof Syed Suhail Amin and Dr Saima Naaz, congratulated Dr Ashima Rao on her achievement.
