It brought together academic leaders, health service and medical research institute partners, and government stakeholders to consider future directions in medical education and workforce capability, with a particular focus on innovating the future training of medical students in the context of rapidly changing technologies. Speakers shared their perspectives on topics like AI, digital health and data science, BioDesign and biomedical engineering, innovation and commercialisation, Transformative leadership & Partnerships with industry. Medical students might have gained and trained in these areas to provide future leadership in a rapidly changing environment.
