 AMU Professor Selected as Examiner at Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine, Royal College of Physicians, UK

ALIGARH, July 30: Prof. Farhan Ahmad Khan, Department of Pharmacology, Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College (JNMC), Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), has been selected as an Examiner at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine (FPM), Royal College of Physicians, United Kingdom, marking a significant international recognition of his academic excellence and expertise in pharmaceutical medicine.

The Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine is the professional membership body responsible for setting and maintaining the highest standards in the specialty of pharmaceutical medicine in the United Kingdom. As an Examiner, Dr. Khan will contribute to the assessment and maintenance of professional standards for physicians specializing in medicines development and pharmaceutical medicine.

Congratulating Dr. Khan, Prof. Syed Ziaur Rahman, Chairman, Department of Pharmacology, said that the appointment is a matter of pride for the department and the university.

It may be noted that both Dr. Farhan A. Khan and Dr. Syed Ziaur Rahman are Fellows of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine (FPM), Royal College of Physicians.
