AMU Appoints Medical Superintendent and Additional Medical Superintendent at JNMCH
ALIGARH, December 24: On the recommendation of the Principal and Chief Medical Superintendent, Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College Hospital, the Vice-Chancellor of Aligarh Muslim University has approved key administrative appointments at Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College Hospital with immediate effect.
Prof. Naiyer Asif, Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, has been appointed Medical Superintendent, JNMCH, in addition to his existing duties, until further orders. A senior orthopaedic surgeon with over two decades of experience, Prof. Asif has a strong record in clinical care, teaching and research, with interests in orthopaedic trauma, joint replacement and arthroscopy.
Prof. Ziya Siddiqui, Institute of Ophthalmology, has been appointed Additional Medical Superintendent, JNMCH, in addition to his current responsibilities, until further orders. He brings extensive experience in ophthalmic surgery and academic practice, with clinical interests in cataract, cornea, glaucoma and community ophthalmology.
