Cyber Legal Awareness Programme Held by AMU Malappuram Cent
ALIGARH, November 29: The NSS Unit of Aligarh Muslim University Malappuram Centre, in collaboration with the Legal Aid Cell and the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Malappuram, organised a Cyber Legal Awareness Programme titled “Niyamaveedhi” at Government Higher Secondary School, Kunnakkavu.
Mr Sreejith K, Principal, welcomed the gathering, while Prof. M. Shahul Hameed, Director, AMU Malappuram Centre, presided. Hon’ble Civil Judge (Senior Division) and DLSA Secretary, Mr Shabir Ibrahim, inaugurated the event and stressed the importance of cyber awareness for adolescents. Dr Shahnawaz Ahmad Malik delivered the felicitation address.
Student members of the Legal Aid Clinic presented key topics including identity theft, phishing and cyber piracy. NSS volunteers hosted the session under the guidance of Dr Raghul V. Rajan. Advocate Prassoonramram R. S. from the Taluk Legal Services Committee also facilitated the programme.
Seventy-five students participated, engaging actively with questions and discussions on responsible digital behaviour and cyber safety. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr Naseema P. K.
