AMU Faculty Member Appointed Editor of Leading Scientific Journal

ALIGARH, June 10:Dr. Ziaul Haque, Assistant Professor in the Department of Plant Protection, Aligarh Muslim University, has been appointed Editor (Nematology) of Indian Phytopathology (Springer) for the period 2026–2028.

Indian Phytopathology is a leading peer-reviewed journal published by the Indian Phytopathological Society (IPS), one of the country's premier professional bodies in plant pathology. The journal is indexed in major international databases, including Web of Science, SCOPUS, BIOSIS and Google Scholar.

The appointment recognizes Dr. Haque's significant contributions to plant protection research and his growing stature in the field of nematology. He has authored more than 110 scholarly publications, including 12 books, 40 research papers and 58 research articles.
