 JMI's Department of Social Work Achieves Outstanding Placement Success for Academic Session 2025–26

The Department of Social Work, Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI), has secured an impressive placement record for the batch of MA (Social Work) & MA (Human Resource Management) 2024–26, reflecting the academic excellence, industry-organization readiness, and professional competence of its students.

A total of 29 out of 44 MA (Social Work) and 14 out of 28 MA (HRM) students have been placed at leading national and multinational organisations across diverse sectors, including information technology, consulting, logistics, human resources, manufacturing, the development sector, corporate social responsibility, education, skill development, community development, sports for development, and social impact domains.

Prominent organisations where students have been placed are Larsen & Toubro, NASSCOM Foundation, Newgen Software, Accenture, CloudKeeper, HAYS, Mindtel Global, Eternal Techverse, AIT Worldwide Logistics, The Reliable Jobs, Sukh Steels, Ampersand Group, PRADAN, Edunet Foundation, Empower Pragati, Project Khel, Drishtee Foundation, Peace Sports Foundation, Lend A Hand India, GTT Foundation, Pragmana, We The People Abhiyan, and Charvi Empowerment Society.

The placement achievements underscore the department’s commitment to providing quality education, fostering academic excellence, professional competence, industry/organization-oriented training, skill development initiatives, fieldwork training, internships, social responsibility, and continuous career guidance through an exclusive placement cell.

The Department's Placement Cell, with designated faculty members and a dedicated Student Placement Committee, worked tirelessly throughout the academic year to engage with prospective employers, coordinate recruitment processes, and facilitate meaningful career opportunities for graduating students.

The university expresses its sincere appreciation to the Department of Social Work-Fieldwork Unit and Placement Cell for its proactive engagement with industry and organizational partners and its continuous efforts in enhancing students' employabilty.
