AMU Holds Curriculum Development Workshop for MBA (Hospital                                          Administration


ALIGARH, June 10: The Department of Business Administration, Aligarh Muslim University, organised a Curriculum Development Workshop to review and update the MBA (Hospital Administration) programme in line with emerging healthcare industry requirements.

Chairperson of the Department, Prof. Salma Ahmed, said the workshop was part of a series of curriculum review initiatives aimed at enhancing industry relevance and employability. The existing curriculum was appreciated by the experts.

The deliberations were led by Prof. Rashid M. Khan, former Professor of Anaesthesiology and Critical Care, AMU, who shared insights from his experience at leading hospitals in Riyadh and Muscat. Other contributors included Prof. Farah Ghaus, Prof. Nasreen Noor, Dr. Shiraz Khan, Dr. Nida Shaikh, alumnus Mr. Nikhil Gupta and several faculty members from the Faculty of Medicine and the Department of Business Administration.

The participants suggested measures to strengthen course content, industry engagement and experiential learning. Prof. Salma Ahmed thanked the experts for their valuable inputs and expressed confidence that the recommendations would further enhance the quality and industry relevance of the programme.
